Hey, I’m Nicolle

I’m a digital designer based in Portland, Oregon.
As a designer, my focus is on creating research-based designs focused on both research and interaction design. I began my design career in marketing, and became interested in using my skills as a web designer and have continued my client work in the eCommerce and B2B space. I also have experience as a product designer, creating design systems and solving UX problems in the healthcare field. Through it all, I remain a designer committed to holistic research, accessibility and functionality while also creating designs that help find a client’s unique voice.

I am inspired by all forms storytelling — especially film and games!— world building, and my local art community. I’m a huge crafter, and my current favorites are cross stitching and building/collecting miniature objects. I also love doing abstract, nature and product photography! As someone deeply focused on community building, I volunteer at a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Digital Dabblers, for budding digital artists. I work as a lead Brand Designer (and meetup host!) where I get to grow my skills as a designer and collaborate and learn from many wonderful local artists!
